🌲 About the Artist
Hi, I’m Emily Yost—the hands, heart, and muddy apron behind Mountin Myst Ceramics, created in the shadow of Mount Shasta, CA. I’m a ceramic artist with a love for earthy textures, whimsical forms, and the quiet magic of making things by hand.
My pieces are inspired by the natural beauty around me—twisting vines, fog-draped forests, and colors pulled from sunsets and starlight. I often blend clay bodies and layer dreamy glazes to create one-of-a-kind pieces that feel like they belong in a fairytale cottage (or a very enchanted kitchen).
Mountin Myst is more than a brand—it’s part of a bigger dream to build a creative community, one mug, bowl, and wild idea at a time. Someday, I hope to host workshops, art gatherings, and craft parties that bring people together through clay and imagination.
